TabBand has a proud history rooted in innovation and dedication. It all began in 1962 when Max Twentier launched the company after an extraordinary journey through life. Following his honorable retirement from the military in 1944 due to injuries, Max turned his determination to entrepreneurship—building a thriving insignia ring business, selling insurance, and even hospital identification bracelets. Always driven by a better idea, Max founded TabBand in 1962, and it continues to thrive to this day.
We haven’t forgotten how it all started. Our premier animal identification band, the TabBand Max, is named in honor of the man who made it all possible.
In June of 2023, Ryan and Anadela Ebmeyer became the proud new owners of TabBand, committed to preserving the exceptional quality and customer service our clients have come to trust. With a shared dedication to innovation and care, Ryan and Anadela are excited to carry Max’s legacy into the future, ensuring that TabBand remains the trusted name for patient and animal identification.
